NO. One only has to walk through a school,
university or a hospital to see that our educa-
tion for our children and care for seniors is
reaching a “sorry, no vacancy” situation.

Selling your business
We think Mr. [Harvey] Meyer did a good job
of addressing the psychology and practical
aspects of the business-sale process [“Selling
your business,” September/October, 2012].
However, there are a few things he recom-
mends owners should do that we disagree with.
Under no circumstances would we give
a potential buyer a list of our customers, nor
would we give them a list of or an introduc-
tion to our employees or vendors prior to
the completion of the closing. If the deal falls
through, you have just given a potential com-
petitor some very valuable trade secrets.

Debate goes on

Canada increase immigration?”

a
YES. Canada has been built by immigrants.
All comments I have read are likely from
people who are descendants of immigrants
and would not be here if their predecessors
had had this mentality. Without being rude,
I think it’s hypocritical: They have benefitted
from the system and are reluctant to allow
others a chance to come to this great country.
